unique resource for information on the chemical formulations of
commercial
products, such as household cleaners, toiletries, etc. There is a trade
name
index as well as a lengthy section on general formulations, organized by
type of
product. Potentially toxic ingredients are identified, and toxicity and
therapeutic information is provided for these. Unfortunately, the most
recent
(5th) edition was prepared in 1984, and there is no indication that there
will
be an update to this edition. Earlier editions (back to 1957) are useful
sources
of historical information on household products. |
