Kathy Attar, MPH has been with CEHN since March 2018. She brings over 10 years of experience on issues related to environmental health, including as the Toxics Program Manager of Physicians for Social Responsibility, where she worked to increase health professionals’ and the public’s engagement in the policy process. This work included legislative advocacy and communications on issues related to harmful chemicals in our air, water and consumer products. Kathy has a firm commitment to protecting the health of communities most at-risk from environmental hazards by advocating for policies that reduce exposure. She holds a Masters in Public Health degree from UCLA.
