Healthy Schools for Healthy Kids Summit
The environments where children learn have lasting impacts on their health, attendance, and academic success. Yet too many schools continue to face aging infrastructure, poor indoor air quality, environmental hazards, and growing climate-related challenges. The Healthy Schools for Healthy Kids Summit will take place on August 5, 8:30 am- 5 pm at the Barbara Jordan Conference Center in Washington, DC. Leaders in children’s health, public health and health equity, education, research, policy, and industry are invited to join this collaborative event and help develop the first-ever Health-First Agenda for America’s Schools. Together, participants will identify shared priorities and advance practical recommendations to accelerate progress toward healthier, safer, and more resilient learning environments for every child.
